(ULSAN=NEWSIS)Ulsan City announced November 16 that the city and KOTRA will send an investment promotion group to North America where the economy is gradually recovering.

The investment promotion group will visit companies related to new growth engine industries including bio, medical, pharmaceutical, bio-engineering and food to find potential investors.

Whilst Ulsan’s core industries are suffering from economic recession, low Yen and drop in oil prices, the city’s strategy is to find a new breakthrough to overcome the economic crisis through the new growth engine industries.

"New York and Washington are not only the mecca of the world’s finance, commerce and services but also the world’s capital of international politics and economy. We will build a close investment cooperation system with KOTRA overseas office and secure a bridgehead to find global potential investors," said a city official.
