Ulsan Global Center Handled 15,000 Civil Service Cases of Foreign Residents

According to Yonhap News,

(ULSAN=Yonhap News) It has been five years since the launch of the Ulsan Global Center, which was established to help foreign residents to settle in a more stable manner.

The center has handled 14,920 civil service cases of foreign residents over the last five years.

Also, the center has built a network with relevant institutions including the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education, Ulsan National Police Agency, Ulsan Immigration Office and the Korea Legal Aid Corporation to provide more convenience to the foreign residents.

At the multicultural family support centers in five counties and guns, about 500 foreign residents receive various education including Korean language and employment.

There are 25,885 registered foreign residents in Ulsan in 2014, a 33.7 percent increase than in 2010 (19,354 foreign residents).
