According to Yonhap News,

(ULSAN=Yonhap News) Ulsan City announced April 12 that Buk-gu of the city will cooperate with Hyundai Motor and the Ulsan Development Institute to renew the outdated Yeompo and Yangjeong.

Buk-gu will hold an agreement ceremony on April 15 to celebrate the launch of the Yeompo and Yangjeong urban renewal council.

According to the urban renewal comprehensive plan, which was established by Buk-gu early this year, Yeompo and Yangjeong regions are in a urgent need of urban renewal due to the deteriorated urban functions.

In this regard, Buk-gu will invest KRW 10 billion in the urban renewal project to turn Yangjeong-dong into a core business district, improve the street environment of Jungang-ro, advance the Sinjeong market in Yeompo-dong and establish regional companies.
