(ULSAN=NEWSIS) Ulju County announced October 14 that its technology exchange delegation to Russia has achieved various results including technology transfer agreements.

The technology exchange delegation comprises 10 regional small- and medium-sized companies in the sectors including nuclear energy, chemistry, electric & electronic and steel.

The delegation visited Moscow and Saint Petersburg from October 5 to 12 and signed a total of 14 agreements including technology exchange agreements and technology transfer agreements.

The delegation held events including the Korea-Russia Technology Forum and one-on-one technology consultations and visited Troitsk, a city where high-tech nuclear energy and energy-related research centers are concentrated.

When the energy convergence industrial complex is completed in the county, it plans to attract research centers in Troitsk to develop the energy and nuclear energy related sectors.
