Excellent Educational Institutions
Ulsan, widely known as the 5th youngest city in Korea with an average age of citizens being 43.7, is also well known for its abundant skilled manpower due to its 62-year-long history as an industrial city. Around 2,000 talented engineers in automobile, shipbuilding & marine, chemical, and environment fields graduate every year from Ulsan University, UNIST and 40 other nearby universities. In 2023, the University of Ulsan was designated for the Glocal University Project 30. By introducing the RISE system, which delegates the authority to support universities to local governments, we plan to push for the win-win growth of the region and university.
