Australian company, Soho Flordis International announces plans to invest U$50 Million in the Korean Natural Medicine Industry

On 1st April, Commissioner Hank Ahn of Invest KOREA visited Soho Flordis International Pty. Ltd. (SFI) and welcomed the company’s decision to select Korea for a US$50 million regional investment plan. SFI is a global natural medicine company with their head office in Sydney, Australia. They are producing clinically proven complementary and registered medicines. SFI has decided to establish their strategic regional office in Korea where they will start to build a base for their global natural medicine distribution, R&D and production facilities.

SFI expects further investments to follow the planned initial US$50 million and will create innovative new natural products with local R&D and strategic collaborations in Korea.

According to Invest KOREA’s personnel, “SFI’s planned Korean investment is a major event for the Korean Natural Medicine Industry and this will be followed by further investments to support collaborations with domestic R&D institutes and pharmaceutical companies. SFI’s activities will help to create a global R&D platform that will lead to the development of new natural medicines with global applications.”
