Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) said on April 25th that it would hold The Middle East Intelligent Transportation System Roadshow in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

The event is hosted by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs and organized by KOTRA, and will take place in Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates, which strives to advance its road system, on April 25th and in Doha, Qatar, which plans to further develop its transportation infrastructure in preparation for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, on April 27th.

Thirteen national organizations and companies including KOTRA, Korea Expressway Corporation, LG CNS, POSCO, SKC, and SK C&C, which have the experience of building Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), have jointly dispatched a mission to Abu Dhabi and Doha for the roadshow.

The mission plans to promote Korea’s ITS building technologies and gather information on winning projects of transportation infrastructure by holding seminars, having consultations with companies, and visiting local ITS agencies.
