KOTRA held an investment seminar at the BIO International Convention 2011, which was held in Washington D.C. on June 27th.

In the investment seminar co-hosted by Korea MSD, officials from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Daegu city, Gyeonggi province and staff members from KOTRA, and Korea Health Industry Development Institute introduced the status of Korean industries and investment support measures to bio, pharmaceutical, and medical equipment businesses.

According to KOTRA, Merck showed its willingness to invest in Korea through Korea MSD after the seminar.

BIO International Convention is an annual bio fair organized by the US Biotechnology Industry Organization. It brings together around 15,000 to 17,000 companies from 60 countries around the world.
