Pulmuone completed the construction for a food processing factory and a health functional food factory in Beijing and Chongqing, respectively.
The establishment of food production facilities can be translated the company's aggressive efforts to make a foray into the Chinese market.
Pulmuone founded a joint-venture in Shanghai in 2008 to enter the Chinese market, but only saw stagnant business. And then it created and operated individual corporations in Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing, respectively, in 2010.
The company's Beijing factory will mostly produce noodle products to be sold under the brand name of Pulmuone. It also plans to expand its business portfolio to health functional food and skincare via its Chongqing factory.
Pulmuone exports 17 food products including noodles to China, which are distributed to global retailers - Wall Mart, Tesco, Carrefour and Lotte Mart.
