The federation of industries of Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ), a non-profit corporation consisting of 34 institutions including companies, universities and research centers in IFEZ, is scheduled to be founded in Songdo International City in September.

The federation will engage in conducting research on how to improve system for facilitating IFEZ and how to enhance Incheon's competitiveness through cooperation among companies.  

The federation plans to gradually increase the number of its members down the road. An official of the IFEZ authority said, "The establishment of the federation will enhance cooperation among members, which is expected to accelerate the growth of IFEZ."
