Gimje City, north Jeolla Province (Jeonbuk) invited about 20 Chinese people from broadcasting companies including Chinese Central Television, travel magazine publishers and travel agencies to promote Gimje Horizon Festival, scheduled to be held from October 10 to 14.
They experienced water sports and stayed for a day at Hanok (Korean traditional house) in Byeokgolje reservoir monument where the main festival is to be held.
The next day, they visited an agriculture life experience center, Byeokgolje Agricultural Museum and Arirang Literature Museum and then other tourist attractions including Geumsan Temple, Simpo Port and Manghae Temple.
