POSCO, South Korea's leading steelmaker, said Wednesday that it has recently
signed 50 deals with its customers for increased cooperation and improvement in
product quality in a bid to tide over the global economic slump.
The
deals include a long-term supply contract with Hitachi Electronics of Japan and
another supply deal with India's leading pipe producer Welspun Corp., according
to POSCO.
