According to Pulse by Maeil Business News Korea,
The Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA) and the Korea Institute of Intellectual Property Promotion (KIPRO) signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday to enhance small and medium enterprises’ (SMEs) technical capacity for intellectual property.
TIPA said on Monday that the agreement involves cooperation on patent research and analysis services, database usage support for SME research and development projects, jointly planning and operating patent capacity building programs, and advisory services for patent applications.
This collaboration is expected to expand TIPA’s previous networks, including with the Korea Intellectual Property Strategy Agency, allowing it to extend support for SMEs in R&D projects beyond IP strategy building.
