According to Yonhap News,

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on January 1st that they will operate the largest-ever integrated Korean Pavilion at CES 2025, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA from January 7th to 10th.

CES is the world's largest information technology (IT) and consumer electronics exhibition, organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) of the United States.

This year, Korea will be represented by approximately 900 companies, including global giants like Samsung, LG, Hyundai, and SK, as well as 445 companies in the integrated Korean Pavilion and about 455 other middle-market enterprises and SMEs.

The size of the integrated Korean Pavilion has grown compared to last year's, which was the largest ever at that time (32 institutions and 443 companies).

The main exhibition sectors in the integrated Korean Pavilion are as follows: home appliances (18%), digital health (17%), artificial intelligence (AI, 16%), and smart home (12%).

In the lead up to the opening, KOTRA will hold a seminar on January 6th, inviting local experts to provide the participating companies with the latest information.

Speakers at the seminar will include the head of the CTA's Industry Analysis Team and the Executive Director of Morgan Stanley, who will cover such information as the outlook for the U.S. consumer electronics market, startup trends, and strategies for attracting financial investment.

On January 8th, KOTRA will host the "K-Innovation Pitching Challenge" in collaboration with U.S. local accelerator Startup Junkie Consulting.

Over 20 domestic companies will pitch to major global U.S. corporations like Walmart, JB Hunt, and IBM at this event, which will be followed by networking reception.

Minister Ahn Duk-geun of Trade, Industry and Energy, stated that "Despite the challenging domestic political situation, we have established the largest-ever integrated Korean Pavilion at CES for the second consecutive year. We will continue to work hard to maintain our credibility and export momentum."

President Kang Kyung-sung of KOTRA, remarked, "We will actively support to ensure that the innovations discovered at CES translated into actual exports."
