The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ECCK, President Thilo Halter) held a launching ceremony for the 2nd Grow Together CSR Program on October 7.

Grow Together is a CSR group of 50 Korean university students that aims to improve foreign investment awareness in Korea. It is organized by Invest Korea, the investment promotion arm of KOTRA, and the ECCK.

After the ceremony, about 70 people, including Grow Together members and staff at Korea’s European foreign-invested companies, visited underprivileged areas in Seongdong District and painted walls to improve the surrounding environment.

"KOTRA and the ECCK will proactively promote sustainable CSR activities along with the 2nd Grow Together. We will carry out CSR activities in which the university students and foreign-invested companies can grow together with the regional society,” said Kiwon Han, the Head of Invest Korea.

Grow Together members will also volunteer at the upcoming Foreign Investment Week, hosted by KOTRA.
