According to Yonhap News,
(BRUSSELS=Yonhap News) The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) organized a medical partnership event on January 24 and 25 at The EGG convention center in Brussels, Belgium, to help Korean companies enter European markets.
Ten Korean medical equipment companies with innovative technologies participated in the partnership event, which was held in connection to Europe's largest medical and healthcare conference MedTech Forum 2018.
The Korean companies had met with some 700 visitors to the forum, including representatives of global medical equipment companies, association, venture capitals, and consulting firms, and actively promoted their products at individual booths within the Korea Pavilion at the MedTech Forum.
At the partnership event, MedTech participants showed significant interest in products such as automatic suction toothbrushes (Bluereo), in-vitro diagnosis medical equipment (SD Biosensor), and smart rehabilitation solutions (Neofect), KOTRA said.
In particular, KOTRA also held an information session on Korea's medical equipment market and investment environment on the first day of the event, providing local company representatives and potential investors with useful information to enhance their understanding, the agency added.
