Takasugi Nobuya, Former Chairman of Seoul Japan Club (SJC)

On June 26 (JST), the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Minster Paik Ungyu) and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA; President and CEO Kwon Pyung-oh) met Former Seoul Japan Club (SJC) Chairman Takasugi Nobuya in Tokyo to appoint him as Honorary Ambassador of Foreign Investment Promotion for Korea (appointed by the Minster of Trade, Industry and Energy).

Honorary Ambassador Takasugi Nobuya currently serves as a trustee (executive) at the Asia and Eurasia Research Institute and published a book on the need for cooperation between Japan and Korea ("Can neighbors become partners?"/ published on 2017.10.1).

During his term, Honorary Ambassador Takasugi Nobuya plans to attend Korean investment promotion events held in Japan, support the discovery of investors and projects for Korea and various activities to facilitate Japanese firms investing in Korea.
