KOTRA to host ‘Global Mobile Vision(GMV)2021’ starting from November 25
In conjunction with 'Digital Transformation EXPO'...various events including seminar, consultation, job fair scheduled


KOTRA (CEO & President Yu Jeoung-yeol) is to hold Global Mobile Vision (GMV), the largest ICT-specialized export consultation in Korea on November 25-30 online and offline. KOTRA has been holding the GMV to support small and medium sized ICT companies to advance into overseas markets every year since 2007.

This year's GMV will be held in conjunction with 'Digital Transformation EXPO' to be held during the same period in KINTEX, Isan. Detailed programs include △On/Offline Exhibition Conference △Global ICT Project Briefing △ Startup IR △ Global Metaverse Seminar and △ ICT Overseas Job Fair.

The ICT Export Consultation, held on November 25-30, will be participated by 200 buyers from 37 countries around the world, having business meetings with domestic small and medium sized ICT companies. In step with the recent digital transformation trends, buyers' interests have also been expanded to △Artificial Intelligence △Big Data △Internet of Things, and △ Metaverse, among others.

In the Global ICT Project Briefing, about 8 clients including the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Turkey's Istanbul Municipal Government Disaster Management Center, Laos's Ministry of Public Construction and Transportation, and officials from the Bulgarian Kazanluk government will participate and provide information on ICT projects for Korean companies, in areas such as smart transportation, control center, and disaster prevention projects.

In the 'Startup Pitching' session, 18 domestic companies with global competitiveness in such areas as AI, medicine, big data, and metaverse, who are recommended by the Korea Mobile Industry Association, will introduce their business models to 9 companies including global VC (Venture Capital) companies.

The ‘ICT Overseas Job Fair’ will be held under the theme of ‘Overseas employment in the ICT field, ask seniors for directions’. Speakers who have started a business or got a job in the centers of global ICT, including Silicon Valley and Tokyo are planned to share their know-how in successful local employment.

KOTRA President Yu Jeoung-yeol said, “The global digital transformation trend is a business opportunity for companies," adding "we will actively support Korean companies to advance into foreign markets through GMV, Korea's leading ICT export consultation event."
