Based on the ‘Egypt Vision 2030’, the sustainable development strategy of the Egyptian government, they decided to strengthen the mutually beneficial partnership between the two nations by discovering cooperative projects for eco-friendly and future industries such as electric vehicles, IT, and transportation. It also provided an opportunity to establish and strengthen the bilateral trade cooperation system in response to global supply chain instability.

A total of three MOUs and two LOIs were concluded at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Letter of Intent (LOI) held after the roundtable: two of which were achievements related to 'Strengthening Trade Cooperation'; and 3 were related to 'Leaping to a Green Society'.

KOTRA President Yu Jeoung-yeol said, “Egypt is Korea's important strategic cooperation partner as a bridgehead for entry into the Middle East and North Africa and a global logistics base," adding "KOREA will spare no efforts in supporting domestic SMEs who want to enter the Egyptian market in step with 'Egypt Vision 2030'."
