KOTRA signed MOU with Dankook University, a host university in the bio-health field of ‘Innovation Sharing University for New Digital Technology Talent Training'.
Professional talent development system in the bio-health field expected to be connected with and utilized by foreign-invested companies
KOTRA (President Yu Jeoung-yeol) signed an MOU with Dankook University to foster talent and support employment of foreign-invested companies at its headquarters in Seoul on March 4.
With the MOU, the foundation for cooperation will be laid for KOTRA's support for foreign-invested companies' utilization of specialized talent and professional development system of Dankook University, which is a host university in the bio-health field among 8 fields **of ‘Innovation Sharing University for New Digital Technology Talent Training’* .
* A program hosted by the Ministry of Education for universities to share new technology and education programs in order to ① respond to the 4th industrial revolution in earnest ② improve global competitiveness of future industries -> Aims to foster 100,000 talents in 8 digital new technology fields by 2026

The two sides plan to promote cooperation such as △Opening educational courses and using educational infrastructure as required by foreign-invested companies, △Supporting foreign-invested companies' recruitment through job fairs and others, and △Facilitating industry-university cooperation between foreign-invested companies and universities.
KOTRA President Yu Jeoung-yeol said, “This MOU is expected to contribute to revitalizing foreign investment attraction by supporting professional talent for foreign-invested companies in the bio-health field, a high-tech strategic industry," adding "KOTRA will actively help industry-university cooperation between foreign-invested companies and universities."
