The Office of the Foreign Investment Ombudsman would like to inform you that the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced revised social distancing rules in Jun, 20, 2021.

Changes in the revised social distancing policy come with current developments with regard to quarantine efforts, medical capacity, vaccination, etc. of Korea, and this will be applied from July 1.

Major changes are simplifying the fiver tiers of distancing level into four tiers and giving more room to local governments in carrying out their own preventative measures. It is also notable that distancing policies for event/gathering is changed, while strengthening quarantine efforts for high-risk facilities, etc.
