In Dec. 9, 2021, the Korean government announced that COVID-19 vaccination certificate from foreigners who received their shots abroad will be now recognized in Korea as well.  

By doing so, foreign residents who registered their vaccination history are now eligible to receive a government issued COVID-19 vaccination certificate (including the application COOV), vaccine pass and booster shots.
