With regards to the issue discussed on the roundtable meeting with foreign-invested companies held on December 18, 2023, we would like to share good news with you. 

This is a further explanation about the issue discussed on the roundtable meeting with foreign-invested companies held on December 18, 2023.

Some foreign invested companies expressed their grievances that their domestic employees have difficulty in selling overseas listed stocks acquired through Stock Reward Program as they have to sell them only through Korean securities firms. 

In order to resolve their grievances, the Foreign Investment Ombudsman and the relevant ministries have closely consulted on this issue. 

Accordingly, the Financial Services Commission (FSC) pre-announced the amendment of 「Enforcement Decree of the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act」on December 29, 2023.
