On July 13, 2022, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Office of the Foreign Investment Ombudsman hosted Japanese Business Community Roundtable at Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry inviting Seoul Japan Club(SJC), Japanese foreign-invested companies, and JETRO Seoul office. Participants urged cooperation between Korea and Japan in materials/parts/equipment industry and discussed policy directions of new administration toward foreign investment and trade.
