The Office of the Foreign Investment Ombudsman held the 'Appointment Ceremony for the Foreign Investment Ombudsman Policy Advisory Committee' at La Casa Hotel Seoul on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

This ceremony was organized to qualitatively improve the functions of the Foreign Investment Ombudsman by securing constant access to opinions from experts in various fields—including law, administration, and industry—to promptly and effectively resolve the grievances of foreign-invested companies.

Approximately 15 people attended the event, including the Foreign Investment Ombudsman, the newly appointed policy advisory committee members, and working-level officials. After a commemorative photo session, attendees were briefed on the Foreign Investment Ombudsman system and the operational direction of the advisory group, followed by a luncheon where they discussed future operations.
