On September 26, 2019, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Office of Foreign Investment Ombudsman attended "Dialogue with Foreign Investors in Materials & Components Industry" to meet with presidents of American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM), Seoul Japan Club(SJC), European Chamber of Commerce in Korea(ECCK) etc., and foreign investors. In this event, the participants dealt with the recent major issues of trade and industry such as response to export restriction of Japan and 「Measures to Enhance Competitiveness of Materials, Parts, and Equipment Industry」, which was announced on August 5, and shared opinions for the manufacturing industry of Korea to leap forward.
