Problems of moving plant sites rose as the railways and light rail transit under the city development plan were to pass through a part of the plant sites of a foreign-invested company.
The city concerned had requested that the foreign company move its plant facilities by the end of 2008, yet it would have taken four to five years to move the plants and recommence manufacturing its products (much time would be needed for the plant construction due to the characteristics of the biomedical products which require verification, approval and registration processes with the WHO, KFDA, FDA, etc.). |
