As the current cash grant system was limited to net increase in factory area, the number of employees, etc., vertical extension of the existing facilities or adding equipment was not subject to the cash grant.
There was a request to include investment in facilities without net increase in the subject of cash grant if the investment had Economic Value Added(EVA) and investment effect.

「Operation Guidelines for the Cash Grant System Article 3-1 ③」 was amended to alleviate expansion investment requirement (Apr. 2023.)
