1. Reasons for Amendment and Major Provisions

The amendment aims to prevent industrial accidents involving excavators, which are often fatal, by newly inserting detailed safety standards and updating safety regulations for pile drivers and pile extractors to address regulations that are no longer valid. It adds eight types of reproductive toxicants as harmful substances subject to control, clearly stipulates measures to prevent health impairment in workers exposed to heat waves, newly inserts safety regulations for carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems, and otherwise addresses a number of weaknesses that have emerged from system operation.
