1. Reasons for Amendment

This amendment aims to expand the range of vehicles that should be subject to early scrapping support, etc. in order to reduce air pollutants such as fine dust and greenhouse gases.

2. Major Provisions

A. Expand diesel vehicles subject to the early scrapping recommendation in accordance with Article 58 (1) of the Clean Air Conservation Act (Article 79 (1) 1) 

The range of diesel motor vehicles among motor vehicles excluded from the early scrapping recommendation, etc. shall be changed from the current subparagraph 2 “(e) through (h)” (diesel motor vehicles to which the standard has been applied since January 1, 2006) of Attached Form 17 to “(f) through (h) (diesel vehicles to which the standard has been applied since September 1, 2009).
