The Regulations on External Audits and Accounting, etc. shall be amended as follows.

In Article 14 (9) 3, “subparagraph 4 (d)” shall read “subparagraph 4 (e),” and the latter part of subparagraph 5 (b) of the same paragraph shall be deleted.

Article 15 (5) 3 and 4 shall each read as follows; subparagraphs 5 through 7 of the same paragraph shall be renumbered to subparagraphs 6 through 8; subparagraph 5 shall be newly inserted in the same paragraph as follows; and in paragraph 6 of the same Article, “subparagraph 7” shall read “subparagraph 8.”

3. Where a company that does not belong to Group A (this refers to Group A in attached Table 4, subparagraph 1) applies for a higher redesignation [A company designated with an accounting firm that belongs to Group B, C, or D as classified in attached Table 4, subparagraph 2 requests the designation of an auditor who belongs to an auditor group (this refers to the groupings in attached Table 4, subparagraph 2; the same applies hereinafter) that is higher than the corporate group (this refers to groupings in attached Table 4, subparagraph 1; the same applies hereinafter) to which the company itself belongs]

4. Where a company that falls under any one of the following applies for a lower redesignation (a company that has been designated with an auditor who belongs to a higher auditor group than the corporate group to which the company itself belongs requests the designation of an auditor who belongs to a lower auditor group)

A. Article 11 (1) 1 of the Act

B. Article 11 (2) of the Act

C. Article 14 (6) 1 of the Decree

5. Where a company that does not belong to Group A (this refers to Group A in attached Table 4, subparagraph 1) applies for redesignation within the same group (a company requests the designation of a different auditor from the same auditor group as the designated auditor)

Attached Tables 3 and 4 shall be as specified in the Appendix.
