1. Reasons for Amendment
This amendment aims to preemptively respond to the recently growing trend in suicide using substances that cause sodium nitrite poisoning.
2. Major Provisions
A. The amendment additionally designates substances that cause a toxic effect due to a unclassified antidote and chelating agent (T50.6) as hazardous objects used for suicide (Article 2, subparagraph 4).
