1. Reason for enactment

It is designed to prescribe such detailed matters such as subject to quality certification, certification standards, procedures and methods, and revocation of certification for products and equipment used in water cycle facilities under Article 21 of the Act on the Promotion and Support of Water Cycle and Articles 6 to 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the same Act.

2. Main contents 

a. The test methods and certification standards for each category of products and equipment subject to the water circulation performance quality certification pursuant to Article 6 of the Enactment draft to the Enforcement Rules of the Act on the Promotion and Support of Water Cycle (Article 3 of the draft).

b. The on-site inspection standards and methods pursuant to Article 8 (1) 1 of the Enactment draft to the Enforcement Rules of the Act on the Promotion and Support of Water Cycle (Article 5 of the draft).

c. The quality test standards and methods for products and equipment pursuant to Article 8 (1) 2 of the Enactment draft to the Enforcement Rules of the Act on the Promotion and Support of Water Cycle (Article 6 of the draft).

d. Certification review and issuance of quality certificates pursuant to Article 8 (1) 3 of the Enactment draft to the Enforcement Rules of the Act on the Promotion and Support of Water Cycle (Article 8 of the draft).

e. Affirmation of the production, distribution, etc. of quality-certified products and equipment pursuant to Articles 26 (2) 1 and 2 of the Enactment draft to the Enforcement Rules of the Act on the Promotion and Support of Water Cycle (Article 9 of the draft).

f. Procedure for quality certification cancellation and public announcement (Article 10 of the draft).
