1. Reasons for revision and main contents

The proposed revision is designed to stipulate the matters delegated by the Road Traffic Act and the matters necessary for its enforcement, because the Act has been revised (Law No. 19745; promulgated on October 24, 2023; implemented on October 25, 2024) to provide for a new type of conditional driver's license requiring the holder to affix an ignition interlock device, the items to be complied with by the holders of such a license, and the items related to the issuance of such a license.
