1. Reason for Revision

Based on the standards and cases of advanced countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan, proposed revision aims to enhance the convenience of product users and improve the current insufficiencies by adding illustrations and letters representing each class/type of fire on the containers of fire extinguishers.

2. Main Contents

A. It introduces illustrations, text, colors and sizes for each type of fire, such as Class A (general fire), Class B (oil fire), Class C (electrical fire), Class D (metal fire), and Class K (kitchen fire) (Article 38 (1) 11 of the draft).
