1. Reason for Revision

The revision aims to establish technical standards for related earth stations (user terminals) in order to introduce ultra-high-speed, low-latency communication services using low-orbit satellite communications.

2. Main Contents

A. The revision specifies the operational specifications of earth stations (user terminal) such as the communication partner (space station) and frequency (Article 6 Subparagraph 2 Item (e) of the draft).

B. It stipulates the basic mandatory requirements of radio stations, such as satellite tracking and transmission control (Article 6 Subparagraph 2 Item (e) Subitem 1) of the draft).

C. It specifies the transmission and reception specifications of earth stations and stipulates the protection of radio interference with/from other radio stations (Article 6 Subparagraph 2 Item (e) Subitem 2) of the draft).
