1. Reason for the Revision

In accordance with the revision of the Labor Standards Act, which includes the extension of maternity leave for premature birth and the expansion of the period for shortened working hours during pregnancy, the proposed revision stipulates the necessary matters, such as the scope of premature babies, the scope of high-risk pregnant women who may have suffered a miscarriage or experienced a premature delivery, etc.


2. Main Contents

a. The revision establishes the scope of premature babies, etc. (Article 12-2 of the draft).

b. The revision establishes the scope of high-risk pregnant women (Article 12-3 of the draft).
