Reason for Amendment
Based on Article 11 of the Special Measures Act for Strengthening and Protecting the Competitiveness of National Key Strategic Industries (Strategic Technology Designation, Modification, and Deregistration), the newly designated candidate technologies, such as one in the robotics sector and one in the defense industry, are selected through the procedures required by the law. The aim is to designate these new technologies as national key strategic technologies, considering the impact on industrial supply chains, national and economic security, growth potential, technological difficulty, ripple effects on other industries, industrial significance, and their impact on the national economy such as exports and employment. The National Key Strategic Technology List (Appendix) will be revised accordingly.
