[Background]
Regarding the recognition of industrialized housing under Article 51 of the "Housing Act," the current system has an issue where the regulation for extending the validity period of recognition exists only in internal guidelines of the industrialized housing recognition organizations. Even when inevitable changes, such as changes in the location of factories, occur, the recognition process must be undergone from the beginning.
Therefore, in order to streamline the recognition and management procedures for industrialized housing and to enhance the convenience of applicants, the "Housing Construction Standards Regulations" and the "Housing Construction Standards Rules" will be amended to establish procedures for extending the validity period and making changes to the recognition.
