To designate species as "Alert Species" before their introduction into Korea, in accordance with Article 2, Subparagraph 6-2 of the Act on the Conservation and Use of Biodiversity, to manage their import and bringing into the country, and to conserve ecosystem safety and biodiversity, as these species pose a potential risk of causing harm to the ecosystem upon inflow.
