Due to the global trend of strengthening biocide substance control (e.g., in the EU), reinforced safety management of domestically manufactured/imported household chemical products is necessary. Government intervention is needed to strengthen chemical substance safety standards and apply essential labeling standards for public health protection.

Establish new content limits for hypochlorous acid (Hypochlorites) within the chemical safety standards by item (Spray-type:  1% effective chlorine; Non-spray-type:  5% effective chlorine) and mandate the display of essential cautionary statements for products using hypochlorous acid substances.
