[Background]

Following the amendment of the Emergency Medical Service Act (Nov 2025), it is necessary to standardize information regarding the operational status and capacity of emergency medical institutions.

[Main Points]

Heads of emergency medical institutions must report facilities, equipment, personnel, reasons for inability to accept patients, and availability of surgeries/treatments for major diseases to the Central Emergency Medical Center (immediate reporting upon changes). Non-compliance may be reflected in institutional evaluations.
