[Background of Proposal]

- (Background) Following the introduction of the occupational safety and health status disclosure system into the Occupational Safety and Health Act, there is a need to specify the details delegated by the Act.
- (Need for Government Intervention) To ensure stable operation of the system, it is necessary to regulate the companies subject to the occupational safety and health status disclosure system and the disclosure items, as delegated by the Act.

[Regulatory Contents]

- Defines the companies subject to the occupational safety and health disclosure system as employers with 500 or more regular workers (or construction employers with an annual construction amount of 120 billion won or more).
- Regarding the status of industrial accidents, it mandates the disclosure of accidental deaths among workers of related contractors, as well as accidental deaths occurring in construction projects ordered (limited to public institutions and local public corporations/authorities).
