1. Background of Promotion

- As the 「Act on the Training and Support of Regional Doctors」 and its Enforcement Decree have been enacted to resolve regional medical imbalances and secure essential medical personnel, it is necessary to prescribe matters regarding the selection ratio for regional doctor selection admissions delegated by the Enforcement Decree. 

- Considering the selection by medical care zone and placement by medical care zone for service-type regional doctors, it is necessary to evenly select students with connections to the mandatory service region, and it is also necessary to complement the medical care zone recruitment through a certain ratio or more of wide-area zone recruitment.
