1. Reason for Revision

- In order to protect consumers from electric kickboard fire accidents, this revision amends the safety standards by upgrading the safety management level of portable lithium batteries (KC 62133-2) used in electric kickboards to match the safety management level of batteries for two-wheeled vehicles.

2. Main Contents

- Adds the over-discharge test and over-current test from [Attached Table 1] 48-2 (Safety Test for Traction Batteries of Two-Wheeled Vehicles) of the "Detailed Enforcement Regulations on the Performance and Standards of Automobiles and Automobile Parts" under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
