1. Reasons for Amendment

- To improve and supplement operational shortcomings, such as establishing the control zones, call signs, and traffic control communication channels for the operation of the Donghae and Pohang Regional Vessel Traffic Service Centers, as well as adding certain position reporting lines and reporting criteria for the maximum height of marine bridges and power lines.

2. Key Contents

A. Specifying the expanded control zones, call signs, and traffic control communication channels in the Donghae and Pohang waters (Attached Tables 1 and 2) 

B. Adding reporting details when a vessel subject to traffic control passes the position reporting line near Jokdo within the Mokpo Regional Zone (Attached Table 2) 

C. Requiring vessels subject to traffic control whose maximum height above the water surface is 37 meters or more to report to the Gyeongin Port Vessel Traffic Service Center when intending to pass through Cheongna Haneul Bridge (Attached Table 2) 

D. Requiring vessels subject to traffic control whose maximum height above the water surface is 25 meters or more to report to the Masan Port Vessel Traffic Service Center when intending to pass through the 22.9kV Sujeong distribution line (Silido-Wonjeon section) (Attached Table 2)
