[Background for Promotion] 

Expanding the scope of protection for special-type workers is a national task of the current administration (Task 75-1: Establishing a labor safety and health legal system for all workers), and is intended to:

- Provide a basic social safety net for special-type workers who are subject to the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act but are not covered by the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
- Delegate specific job categories of special-type workers to the Presidential Decree to prescribe the addition of targets for safety and health measures.

[Regulatory Details] 

Considering the legislative purpose, dependency of targets, and necessity of protection, add job categories that are subject to the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act but not yet covered by the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and expand the scope of already covered job categories:

- (Addition of Job Categories) ① Construction site truck drivers, ② After-school instructors, ③ Children's school bus drivers, ④ Tour guides
- (Expansion of Scope) ① Specific-item truck drivers (transporters of automobiles and flour/grain/feed), ② Parcel terminal-to-terminal (line-haul) drivers, ③ Logistics delivery drivers
