[Background]

With the enactment of the "Special Act on the Designation and Development of International Logistics Promotion Zones", which aims to promote high value-added activities such as logistics-based manufacturing and research at major hubs where airports, ports, and railways are integrated, this proposed rule prescribes matters delegated by the Act and matters necessary for its enforcement in time for the enacted law's effective date (April 7, 2027).

Specifically, in accordance with Article 17, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the "International Logistics Promotion Zone Act," it intends to specify the delegated matters concerning the application for modifying a demonstration exception.


[Main Points]

When intending to apply for a modification to a demonstration exception, the following documents must be attached to the Application for Modification of Demonstration Exception in Attached Form No. 7:


1. A results report containing the current status and utilization record of the demonstration exception.

2. A statement of reasons for modifying the demonstration exception and relevant evidentiary data.

3. A plan for changing the validity period of liability insurance or a plan for changing compensation for damages (limited to applicable cases only).

4. A copy of the certificate of demonstration exception.

5. Other matters necessary for the modification of the demonstration exception.
