(1) Reasons for Proposal
The Tourism Promotion Act was amended (Act No. 15058; promulgated on November 28, 2017; to be enforced on November 29, 2018) to prescribe that where an establishment no longer meets the designation requirements for tourism convenience facility businesses, the designation may be revoked or the establishment may be issued with an order to suspend the business, improve its facilities/operation, etc., within a specified period of up to 6 months. Accordingly, this Amendment prescribes criteria for administrative measures delegated by the Tourism Promotion Act.
