2. Reason for proposal

As Environmental Technology and Environmental Industry Support Act is revised (Law No. 18035, enforcement on October 144, 2021) so that Central Green Environmental Support Center is designated and operated to strengthen the network among green environment support centers in the country, the basis to implement related projects of the Ministry of Environment to support financial institutions for environmental responsible investment is prescribed, and the subjects of environmental information disclosure system are expanded to the enterprises having certain scale of total assets among listed corporations, it is intended to prepare the standard on designation, operation, and evaluation of Central Green Environmental Support Center and to decide the matters delegated under laws in relation to free loan and use of shared property, range of environmental responsible investment support projects, and scale of subjects for environmental information disclosure.
